HARDWARE We advise you on simple and cost effective hardware improvements that reduce the likelihood and impact of any hardware failure. |

SOFTWARE We follow other users of the same software, and if we become aware of any software problems or software configuration problems that might relate to you, we make appropriate changes to ensure the continued reliable operation of your servers. |

MONITORING We monitor your hardware and software to detect faults as quickly as possible. Whenever possible we rectify these faults before they impact on the operation of your servers. If the fault has already affected the server's operation, and it is possible for us to do so, we get the server back into normal operation as quickly as we can. If the fault is serious so that this is not possible (for example a major hardware failure, theft, fire), we will work with you to get your servers operational as quickly as we can. |

PLANNING In such an event, good planning is important to the recovery of your servers. Such a disaster recovery situation potentially requires the commissioning of new hardware, re-installation of software, re-configuration of the software and recovery of data from backups. With access to replacement hardware and/or backups as necessary, we recover the servers and bring them back into operation as quickly as possible. |
