What we really liked was that within one unified platform we had a single solution that would allow us to communicate, engage and share data with teachers, parents and students.
For parents, real-time reporting means they can really participate in their child's education, with similar access to timetable information and data on achievement, behaviour etc. ... it is convenient to get to via their smart phone.
Teachers love the feature where the Pupil Premium, SEN and medical alert flags are shown on the register screen. That’s a great feature. It means that we’ve now got at our fingertips information on who is in our class and what we need to do to support them.
What matters most is that school systems work well and are easy to use. Edulink One is such a great product, it sells itself. Parental engagement has been impressive… the low price is a bonus.
Edulink One is so much more than a parent portal. It has vastly improved our communications with students and parents, and revolutionised our staff’s normal way of working – increasing efficiency and impact. We cannot imagine life without it now!
Edulink One really is a fantastic asset. It’s simple to use and ties so many activities/tasks from school life together in one place. The app has helped improve communication with parents and we’ve seen nothing but benefits from implementing it.
In terms of choosing Overnet Data to support Moodle, we found that their help-desk support was absolutely fantastic and quick, and their knowledge on it has been absolutely brilliant, and when there have been problems, they had them resolved really, really quickly and we’ve been informed really clearly of what happened and why it happened and how we can resolve it in the future.
It is a huge benefit and bonus having Overnet Data there to help us out with running major maintenance updates on Moodle. Plus, if someone comes to us and asks questions that we’re not sure about or wants a feature adding, we e-mail their support team and get a response the same day! This is really, really useful.
